Look for a Microsoft Sidewinder FFB2 on Ebay...

I took advice from members on this site.....

Amazingly I won one a few weeks ago for £6.50

+1 wholeheartedly for the MS FFB2.

best FFB performing stick and build quality.

stay away from the logitech Force 3d Pro. I bought one (brand new) and that thing refused to center properly out of the box. Appears to be common problem with these sticks, i believe its actually the logitech gaming software that causes this (has some sort of auto calibration). The gimbals have so much slack around the center and the HS sensor is too sensitive, bad combination. force feedback feel and strength was dismal compared to the 10+ year old FFB2 i got from ebay.

I cant comment on the G940, i hear it has stronger motors but still has a lot of slack around the center and there is some jumping input when you're moving the controls slowly. it was a software bug - but it might have been fixed. I'd research further before buying, value wise it is pretty cheap for what you get. To be honest, i'm so happy with the FFB2 i wouldnt even consider it.
