Thumbs up

I ran the ‘Black Death’ track with each of the tests below, and recorded the fps using the in-game display. All other settings were unaltered, driver settings at default.

AMD driver ver. 11.3, beta patch ver. 14214: avg.41, max.94, min10
AMD driver ver. 11.4, beta patch ver. 14214: avg.41, max.93, min.9
AMD driver ver. 11.4, beta patch ver. 14305: avg.42, max.96, min.10

I haven’t noticed any anomalies, but haven’t flown yet. The game loaded normally. If I notice any relevant changes when flying, I’ll edit this post.

[Edit: After a brief flight over Dover, the increase in the average frame rate suggested by the above seems more apparent – it subjectively runs at a higher frame rate, with a noticeable improvement when looking at the burning fuel storage depot. No additional graphic anomalies, no stuttering and no black lines (texture edges) seen in the sea. Nice improvement to the map detail. For me, a general improvement overall. ]

[Edit 2: Regarding previously noted errors which seem unchanged;
- Will still occasionally display desktop when hitting the ‘Esc’ key
- Some texture leaks between sea and land on shore line (thin rectangular strips)
- Massive fps hit when Le Havre industrial district comes into view

These have been present since the previous beta and seem unaffected by the latest patch]
