OP and smink1701, you are one and the same person, aren't you?
Man, I'm getting so sick of it....brb making a virus, infecting those f**rs and making their engines sound like people throwing up, un-deleteable. Seriously.

Dude, its only a request to help improve the game experience... sounds are just as important as anything else....

whats wrong with making a good game even better by listening to what the consumers want? its this kind of dedication that keeps a game going on for years

the way i see it you post goes like this

a) someone want to help your game get better.. how is that belittering? i call that dedicated for the greater good of the game series
b) many are not happy with the current sounds... its allways room for improvement
c)...... nothing wrong with cooler/more real sounds
d) how is your post helping?

Not sure what your point is but posting dead links isn't helpful

Jog on Mr 119 posts since you bought this game in april, Refelcted is a well respected member of the flight sim community and has been around the FS scene for quite some time, further more I for one value his opinion even if might be negative of sorts.
So i think you should back down and stop thinking that you have the right to be rude to people because you disagree with them.

No other sim is close in this regard. I'd love deeper, more realistic sounds, but I don't want to loose the dynamic system we have now. Using canned samples I think we would loose the responsiveness of the sound engine.

So which is better for flying? Authentic samples or a dynamic system I can hear my engine straining without looking at my gauges?
That's my take on things too. I would definitely like improved sounds but not at the cost of losing their dynamic nature, it's a great deal of help if you fly with CEM and temp effects enabled. I can tune my engine by ear and look at the target, instead of burying my head in the cockpit gauges in the middle of the dogfight.

That goes doubly so for the Luftwaffe aircraft with their manual pitch props, i wouldn't use a canned/looping sample over dynamic sounds even if they sounded better.
