It can be done, but crikey what a convoluted process with changes occuring by themselves..... so manual edit (Quick Mission)
tracers don't streak in screenshots... they be little balls of light  haven't figured out Kill stamp yet

The next patch may solve the issue, use FMB and edit your stock missions or use Notepad and edit the Mission files manually during game play to quickly assess the efectiveness of alternative weapons loadouts (details here)........
