I sure hope so, alot is lynchpinned on this fix. Its why vsync will now work, and although he didn't specifically mention it AA should now work too. If not the in-game AA (I'm not sure what method they use), forcing it with the drivers should work.

I also hope it fixes ATI cards not scaling up their 3D clock speeds for Cliffs of Dover once and for all. I'm getting tired of having to put an overclock on my card to force the right clockspeeds for the game.

How do you mean? I havent looked at my clock speeds while in game but you say they dont rise or fall or something like that?

More recent ATI cards scale clock speeds with the type of application being run, to reduce energy consumption, noise, heat, that sort of thing. However, if an application is not coded in a way the card recognises, it will operate at desktop clocks, which are seriously reduced impairing performance quite considerably. As COD did not have a proper full screen mode, these ati cards were running at desktop clock speeds, and not the speeds intended for applications such as gaming. A workaround is to force an over clock through the drivers or other software; doing so forces the clocks to operate continuously at the overlcocked speed.

There are a few threads in the technical support forum on this. It doesn't affect all models but it does exist.
