if you are just going to upgrade the card i would not get anything real expensive as it wont do you any good with that back-end you currently have, what is your power supply? does it have connections for video card?

I get around 45 fps at 1050x1440 rez on a mix of high /low settings.

Power supply is good 500W, cost me about 120 eur. From my point of view, maybe I need new PC, but I have Bird of pray, and with this configuration game fly like charm on max settings. Is it so big difference betwen engines of this two games?

Well, I bought ATI HD 6950 and Corsair 650W PS and on 1920x1080 it works superb.. everything have a price...
