Agree.
no need to change something because some players "feel" it's not right. This is a SIMULATION, the only way something should be changed is if there is reliable data on the subject. If you have data that shows the merlin cuts with 0.5 G, then keep it that way unless more reliable/detailed data is found or provided by someone.
