I think it'd be too big a chore to make all the crosses into Swastikas.
This comes up in EVERY WW2 era themed game. Can't show them in many countries in Europe and developers want to reach the largest market possible.

I would have rather seen proper Iron Crosses take their place instead of the skinny cross that they did use. Just a personal preference to revisionist history
