Another small problem: I played the single mission Bomber Intercept - Ships, we chased off the bombers and once the flight home commenced I switched to AI and increased sim speed. The game froze, but with audio and I could still look around and change views. I tried to un-pause, decrease speed, esc and return but nothing would get it going again.

Overall framerate has increased (a bit) but I do certainly encounter more microstutters than before.

I can´t do a accurate test because I'm under the recommended specifications due to my 2GB of RAM (still waiting my 4GB upgrade)

- Fly over terrain is better now, there less shutter and is more stable, but have a performance cost.

Before the patch the shutter was terrible but the fps was good, now the shutter are gone but the performance is lower.

i5 750 2.66 ghz, 4gb RAM, ATI HD5770 with 1 gb RAM, Win 7 64 bit
I went from practically no stutters to stutters every 2 seconds, even over sea (Trees both off and at very low, buildings very low on detail, res 1920x1080)

e8400 cpu @3.6ghz
4870x2 duel gpu card
8 gigs memory
win7 64bit sp1

Russian version of game.

After patching game would not launch properly so had steam validate game cache and re applied patch.

Game started fine after second attempt.

GPU clocked up from 2D clock speeds to 3D on both cores!

Loaded channel mission 15 and as soon as mission was fully loaded GPU went back to 2D core settings
I have duplicated this several times, you guys are close!

Still doing testing on fps and stutters but seems a little bit better in both regards but hard to tell, need to test more.

Trees on very low and buildings on low all lese high or medium with grass, shadows and roads turned on and 8x AA.

OK. First impression. It is better. I'm back to my native resolution (witch was unplayable before). But I'm not satisfied. 25 FPS over sea. Will try with lower resolution over the ground. Still "black shark net" over the sea.

i-7 970, 2xGTX560 270.51, 12gb cheap ram, W7/64U 1680x1050 all settings high except grass=off, building amount=small and forest=low.

PROS:
Noticeable improvement in the cockpit when looking down at gauges (about 20%).
FMB now shows labels.
Not quite so choppy when flying over land at 2000m or higher.

CONS:
Had to go back to FMB to tick player box for my plane in a mission I created.
Pausing the game can cause loss of sound upon unpause.
Getting black screen on startup every time, must CNTL-ALT-DEL to taskmanager then all is ok again.

STILL THE SAME:
Serious stutters (almost unplayable) when flying low over land.
Control lag and stutters when dogfighting one Hurri VS. one Condor.

Last edited by bigchump; 04-08-2011 at 02:33 PM. Reason: Black screen on startup occasionally

Thanks again everyone, please keep at it!
Core2Duo E6600, 4GB Ram, 8800GTS (640MB, 266.58 Drivers), Windows 7 x64, not sure about reduced performance as I can get around 20fps in the pit but the stutter is far worse.

I also am having the following issues:

Tree setting to 'very low' loads as 'none' and has to be reset (there is no performance difference between off or very low).
Commands do not work reliably, ie; Print Screen, Gear, Mixture, etc etc. (Anthropomphic is set to off).
