And please do not tell me to check the axes section........
Just updated to Win 7 myself. You don't need CH Control Manager except if you use the MFP. Had me foxed for a while.

I'm watching this post with interest as I have exactly the same issue with my X52.

Nothing I do will get COD to recognise the Axis or Button inputs. Works fine in every other game.

Hope you find a fix

I'm guessing its something silly that I haven't noticed or its my unfamiliarity with Win 7.

But no-one has an answer yet

Fair enough..but have you tried uninstalling CH control manager and seeing if the controllers are detected?

I assume you downloaded the latest CH control software for Win 7.

I have spent MANY hours installing/uninstalling booting/re-booting/closing down , ticking boxes/un-ticking boxes, I don't know now wether I'm coming or going.

The game isn't seeing the controllers, everything works fine in Il2 46, but I can't get CoD to see my axes...

||Which is a pity because even though I've a low end system, the game doesn't look bad and plays smoothly enough so far

Are you definately double clicking the axis assignment box/area and getting a second window to appear. Its when the second window appears that you move your axis to assign it. When you've got them all assigned hit apply, then go back into controls and hit save and give your mapping a file name that you can load up next time you start the game.
