Ingame sound has no sound adjustment

Does it work if you use the Mixer in the Windows taskbar? I haven't tried that yet. If you have Vista or Win7 though you should be able to set volumes for programs individually.

Nice one grunch, once you have launched the game (in windows 7) press the windows key and select the speaker icon (mixer icon) in the task bar, select mixer at the bottom of the headset volume and you will get serveral options for sound, I had headset volume, system volume, Cod volume () and steam volume. Sorted.

I guess you could try and lower the values of the sounds you reckon are too high. I would try this myself first, but I've got to go make coffee for the wife!
