I can't really see any other way without taking your hand off the stick. I guess if I could rig some way to have my stick in the center I could swap hands on the stick, though I can't imagine flying with my left hand for more than a few seconds.

I don't use the mouse while in combat. The clicky stuff is just for start up and maintaining the aircraft at cruise/climb when I'm trimmed out and fly hands off.
