Yeah, My guess is the amount of video ram has a big difference. I dont have the sim yet, but I do have ROF which has some heavy duty ground graphics and pyshics involved. I run a 2 gig Geforce 560Ti and when I load up everything to max It shows I use 53% of video ram. After flying I look at MSI afterburner and the ram usage agrees with what the ROF panel shows me. So if I had only 1 gig of ram I would be in big trouble with ROF. In fact it gives you warnings when you hit 95% usage that the game may not be flyable at the present settings. My card is a Palit geforce 560ti 2 gig. Got it from New Egg. In ROF I get between low 40s to high 50s FPS and that is with everything turned all the way up. Asus P5K deluxe, Q9550 @ 3.6ghz, 8 gig ddr2 ram @ 1066. So good performace on a older pc. And in ROF all the flights are over land.

I will have to wait till April 18th for my game to ship, I paid for 2nd day air. so hopefully I will be flying on the 20th. I just hope COD does as well as ROF.
