Go in under the second menu (edit) and the bottom option is for settings particular
for the game you have choosen.

Sorry for any confusion but I'm on a swedish setup and I don't know if the English
version calls the menu with the same names.

But anyway there is an option to turn down the centering force for the game in quistion
wether it works or not I can't tell yet.
That doesn't work, for reduced FF effects the game/sim has to support FF effect. Since CoD does not support FF the G940 just goes to 100% centering strength.

Aha, then we're sol I guess.
I thought this could be used in games not FF enabled for reducing the center spring
force.

If i remember right there was a tickbox in Windoes joystick settings for nonFF games, of course i can remember wrong.

below link is not G940 but similar, have you tried put tick on the "enable Centering Spring" and then reduced it?

As I said, can't try yet because the game is not here yet. I just responded to some questions

Will experiment the following days though.

But if I read the menu correctly it is supposedly able to do just that. That is my belief anyway and I'll soon find out.

// regards

Jah, you can. Problem is that the FFB tensions, included the spring, pops up on full force regardless of profiler settings when you launch the game. You gotta keep two profiler windows open to not let the game do that.

or download the forcefeedback test app in the other thread.
create a new profile ie. cliffs of dover. set this profile to exclusive in the global settings, then Set your desired forces in the logitech profiler under game specific. the top 3 ones. forcefeedback power, centering and dampening

Then open the test app and tick centering spring and dampening. you can instantly feel the inputted forces. just leave this app open and start up your game. the forces stick.

If you need to tweak the input: exit tester, correct forces in profiler, restart tester and tick required boxes ie. centering spring and dampening and leave it open. start game.

edit here it is: http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthr...t=19922&page=2
