You can see how hard is to use flaps on BF109 and how easy are the spit ones. Gunnery it's a hell to me, the plane is not stable and manuovering with the plane makes the pilot moves the head and lose the revi. Controling the engine in full real is amazing... |

I hope there's a way to remove that bloody loud ticking sound when the wheel is moved, it shouldn't make loud noises at all
Keep them coming though! I love them! |

I hope the flaps operation can be faster in the BF109, look this video. |

So what is your point?
Being in air or ground does little effect of the rotation of the flap wheel makes to the flap since it is geared. As you can clearly see on the clip provided by gunkan the reason that the flap extension takes a long time (even for the guy on ground) is probably not because it is "heavy" its rather because its a low gear ratio and he needs to regrip the wheel each time for each extension. Even if there is airflow against the wing and flaps it would not affect the system that much since it should be designed to extend the flaps easily without much muscle force at normal speeds. ( therefore the low ratio and lots of turns) |

This is pretty good.
Hurricane vs He-111 at dusk (ammo unlim) Note inertia appears disabled in his settings (no head or instrument wobble), and no TIR here. Very flyable imo, but then not many aircraft in the air and who knows what he's running it on. and... Bf-110C7 at night attacking shipping the geography looks more like Malaysia/Thailand however Last edited by Solnyshko; 03-29-2011 at 07:48 PM. |

An option for what? To make them less realistic?
