Game crashes to desk top 1/3 of time when saving changes to graphics settings.

AA does not work in game even when forced via GPU software.

Engines sound in BF110 go away when flying low on the deck over GB. Come back when altitude raises.

during the past 2 days i have been testing various scenarios and one item that is large and glaring is the fact that ANY mission with a JU88 brings my system to a halt...whether they are near or far, on the whole there is something going on with the German aircraft i was just in a 36 plane furball (QMB) and had an avg fps of 43 over water with my in game setting's at medium and my vid card set to 2x on my AA/AF (I was flying a hurri)
I started another QMB with 32 planes (over water) and my FPS was 16 (i was in a 110) but as soon as i switched all the German planes out for English ones (twin engine) my FPS went back up to 40
Now i completely disabled sound to see if that was the issue but got the exact same results in short if i fly a 110 (in 32 plane QMB) i get 16 fps if i change to a 109 i get 30 if i change to a Blenheim i get 40

S!

Default Latest BETA patch problems

Hi.

My specs:
AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE
A-DATA 4 GB DDR2 800 MHz
GigaByte GTX 560 Ti Ultra Durable 1GB
MB Gigabyte MA790X-DS4
SEASONIC 500W
Coomaster Elite 330
Windows 7 Home Premium
No overclocking.
Only antivirus soft running in system during playing COD.
Playing max details and max resolution. Only effects are set to medium.
No MODs applied!

When experienced the problems, I was trying to "play" with settings, but results are the same.

The sim is absolutely GREAT, runs smoothly, but...!

* Campaign - already during first mission with Hurricane it freezes. Have to CTRL+ALT+DEL and quit from Applications menu in Windows.

* Ground stutter during low level flight

* (dont know if its a bug) some key short-cuts doesnt work when in external view (opening canopy and such)

* sometimes when I open the canopy or eject it, the lower part of front dash panel changes textures to some super-low-res-mess

* extreme framerate drops when effects are generated. Smoke, clouds, fire etc....only when close to the effect. During touchdown, smoke appears and the sim is unplayable from the cockpit because of the framerate drop. Have to switch to external view. Same on all effects, details or resolution settings.

* AI of wingmen is sometimes suicidal.

* sometimes sound of Hurricane engine changes its sound or how to say that from full power to something like 30% of power. All gauges looked ok and it has good energy during 30 minutes flight, so I think it wasnt because of engine damage. Not sure on this one.

* sometimes shadows flickering. Very rare.

* some objects levitates in air when put in Mission Builder.

Cant remember other things right now. About other things concerning physics, engines modelling etc.....donw know anything about it, so dont know if it works fine. ))

A little update:

* after spending many hours in multiplayer on ATAG server, game Launcher often crashes, which is very unfortunate.

Thanks

I'm getting this with the most current drivers on my 470 GTX video card.

system specs:
Gigabyte motherboard GA-870A-UD3
6 GB Crucial DDR3
AMD Phenom X4 965
700 watt Corsair power supply
Nvidia GeForce 470 GTX driver version 266.58
Win XP SP3
all drivers up to date

No problem at all with rendering in Rise of Flight, IL2 Sturmovik 1946 or Crysis 2.

Rick
