Really hacked off so I checked on the internet and found a lot of threads concerning SST, conflicts with TrackIR and causing PC instability. Anyway, I have removed the SST software and mapped the stick directly to the functions I need with no intermediate software and everything now seems fine.

Has anyone else experienced problems with this software? BTW, this was following a complete re-install of the OS (WIN XP 32 bit SP3) and Nvidea drivers, etc, as I thought it may have been a duff registry or driver issue. I only have WOP and IL1946 installed and it was crashing with out TrackIR enabled.
This has been happening to me since i put win 7 on...been giving me headaches, gonna unistall my sst software see what happens ta

Since posting that thread I tried the latest drivers and SST for an X52 I recently bought, mainly to use the MFD. So far it's been stable on both my WIN7(32bit) and XP PC's. It was hell with my Cyborg and frequent BSOD with the SST installed (which I am pretty sure was the same SST version as I now have).

some of minimouse and keyboard emulation drivers are updated. Personally i don't use the mfd so i disabled the service, and i don't keep the sst running in background, i just did my profile for il2 and when i need it, start the sst and send the profile to the stick then i close it.
