A quick question for Codex and the other Australians who've preordered from EB..Did you order in the store in person or online? I've tried searching in www.ebgames.com.au but I can't find an entry for CoD either standard or CE. If it's there can someone provide a link to the preorder page please?

i went into the store. they were very helpful but could not provide an exact release date. they said that was down to EB's parent company in the US - game stop.

In store is the way to go... EB don't have Lockon listed on their site either

I always go in store, but I only go there as a last resort or just to have sticky nose as to what they're charging compared to other stores/sources.

And this is where the story gets interesting.... I tried to pre-order the Collectors Edition through EB Games by calling them and paying with a credit card.
Unfortunately they are unable to do that.
So, I then had to drive 150km to the nearest EB store to pre-order in person.
As Ubisoft has stated there will be a limited number of copies coming from the US, even if you have pre-paid the full amount, it is a case of first ordered, first served. In other words, even after all that and paying upfront I may still not get a Collectors Edition if not enough are bought in to fill orders.

And so the saga continues....

Bloody hell 150kms, you are keen on this game. If anyone deserves a CE its you mate.
