"The mode will let up to 128 players to fight online and will use (attention, ladies and gentlamen)… RADAR!"

mmmmm? Wonder if they will give Axis radar as well to keep multiplayer at a level playing field? Derp, what was i thinking!! We have the 109 so already have the advantage, fuel injection, cannons ect, almost feel sorry for the Allied chappies, almost but not quite

Yeah, and don't forget about its super long range and amazing wings' G tollerance. Oh, and about field of view and super easy controlling, especially take-offs and landings.

But now serious:
I've got to know your opinions on it.

Well youve caught me in a weak moment so i'll put my serious face on;

Im all for radar in the single player campaign and lack of loiter time over the english coast ect, the more accurate the better for my game play enjoyment, but having said that i enjoy multiplayer, tbh mp is all ive really played over the last 3 years or so, warbirds, spits v 109's, UK dedicated ect though i havent had much time over the last 12 months or so because of work commitments. I think it will be hard to get the right "mix" for want of a better word for mp if reds just defend england, though hopefully it will end up in large dogfights over the middle of the channel with the bombers from both sides trying to get through. Spose if each side has equal amount of ground targets on either side of the channel it will work out fine. Hard to say till we know more about map sizes ect.
But even though there is a bit of negativity about atm I for one cant wait for release, downloaded Wings of prey yesterday to give it a go while waiting for CoD, but its gameplay is absolutley horrible, if there is anyone out there that has completed the first LW misson (eagleday i think it is) your a better man than me!

Bring on COD i say, sooner the better!

That reads very well, Alien. You hit all the most important points. You included details to excite the interest of flight-sim fans and total newbies to the genre. Good work.

The point about having lots of fan-made content in a few months... I bet we see new missions within a day or two after release.

In a previous thread Oleg did mention that the Radar was not going to have complete coverage and would not be completely accurate.

Learnig to exploit it's weekness may end up being a huge advantage for the Axis side if the RAF that relys on it too much.

Also you'll hopefully be allowed to side track a few bombers and negate the advantage in short order.

Radar will only be an advantage if the RAF players stick to team tactics and follow orders!

Cheers!
