lock on problems

It might be your controller. I still have the original controller sixaxis that came with my fatty ps3, the R2 button is really sensitive, if you just lay our finger on it it turns on, and while holding it sometimes the button turns off.

I just use that controller for navigating menus while using my driving rig or flight stick, and watching movies.

p.s. I have never thrown it.
