Vista 64
I would like to have W7 64 but upgrading from XP did cost 140 euro's and soon after W7 arrived. Would again have to fork out 150 euro's. I can't keep up with the arrival speed of new baked OS's. Still i'm quite happy with Vista. Installed once in 2008 and still working fine. Never had that before with any OS, be it Windows or Mac. edit: or Atari ![]() |

Not much.
Heli is proven to be right, and the fact simmers spend quite a lot more money on their system than average(surpise! lol) What did you think was my goal? |

S!
Simming is expensive and I have shelled out a lot only because of IL-2 and now for CoD. FPS games are not my branch, they are just so repetitive and full of ADHD bunnies ![]() |

Don't think it proves anything much. The die-hards here are representative only of themselves. If the devs are making decisions on features for the game they'll consider the full range of potential buyers, a lot of whom will be casual Steam-type folks. Definitely doesn't prove Heli right. |

Well you have to consider that the poll was made for us not other gamers. It is representative of the people who most likely will play the game.

Most potential buyers will throw this game into the next corner after getting disappointed or depressed when they try the online modus. When I first flew online, and I only "acquired" IL2 for this reason, I took me almost two hours(!) to get my first kill. I seriously considered uninstallation at this point. Most casual gamer think this way. Targeting the average gamer leads to nothing, you can sell him the game - once - but he will never touch again nor buy any addons or upgrades. The "core" are the retards you can make money with(I'm one of those jerks too). |
