Expect to see a patch in a few months, hell, maybe even a year, that will enable DX11 and some of the features that require it. Another thing. A huge portion of those DX11 ready computers that are showing up on Steam and other sites are people with bare-bones systems/laptops that have integrated video cards that are "Directx 11 compliant" despite straining and working up a sweat to play solitaire.
Thanks Jockey for clarifying this. If they add in DX11 in the future that is good, but I still expected dx11 on release. In any case your soothing type has calmed me
