Strange thing is that it did work the first times for me without detaching anything. Now suddenly the rudders to not work in IL2.

In the "System Control", "Usb Game Controls" dialog there's a button with which you can set one of the usb devices to be used with older games (No idea, how this button is labelled in the English version od Windows). By applying this button consecutively on the devices, you can reorder them (each time you apply this button, the selected device will move to the top => No1 in Il-2)...

Maybe this helps to get your rudders within 1-4 again...

PS: If you have two identically named devices, this will not work for *them*. I made this experience with two BU0836As. You can get only one of them to the top (and its 50/50, which one )
