Actually in relationship to how people make condecending statments about the plane that won the battle over the plane that lost it, calling it a sissyfire as if the guys who fly it are only doing so to get kills easier. Apparently the assumption that it is non-historical modeling or some such. I think going around posting such statements make the poster seem like a snot nosed teen who knows absolutely nothing about history and is attempting a troll. I think you got the analogy you just chose to see it otherwise, Now do you get it?

As the matter of fact the community is dead and we all wasted € 45,00 for a DRM infested, buggy, unfinished piece of s....oftware with a campaing ending in 1943 ! So UBISOFT already screwed one of my favourite games and I HOPE AND PRAY that they will not do the same with the other one. Don't get me wrong, but I'm not that excited ! UBISOFT turned into a greedy company protecting the interests of their shareholders only. They don't give a sh*t for their customers. Remembering UPLAY.......

Anyway, I'm an optimist and will of course support Oleg efforts....4 weeks after the release.

P.S.: Although it is probably a rhetorical question; will there be a dedicated server for IL2 Sturmovik "Cliffs over Dover" ?
You mean Silent Hunter 5, yes I was a big fan of SH3, SH5 came as a big disappointment.

But you can not compare SH5 with IL-2 COD, totally different situation, UBI is not developing IL-2 COD. And the initial IL-2 has a good history of support, not to worry!

Congratulations from Sweden Oleg and the team!

If feels almost unreal to read the official statement.

I couldnt care less about DRM, the missing system requirements, how certain words are spelled or what kind of quality of the official trailer.

All these things are just minor issues now that we finally will be able to explore and enjoy Oleg and 1C´s latest creation.

For a long time I´ve missed the special feeling you got as a child just before Christmas, waiting to throw your hands on all the presents.

Thank you Oleg for letting me feel like a child again! This is just fantastic!

Best Regards
Simon "8 year old" Lindblad

Really? You must have accumulated a pretty long one by now judging by your contentious comments, I just find it pretty odd that people post on forums just to insult others about the choice of airplane to fly in a game. It's not football, it's a flight sim
