I have same problem with my GTX 580

When I run FRAPS I get stutters. But mainly when recording in Gun View, which is a zoom view.

Try using the v2.2.0 beta 3 version of Afterburner, it has video capture built in and doesn't clobber frame rates like FRAPS does, its a far better way of capturing gameplay. Its downloadable (free) from www.guru3d.com
