For starting, I have to proclaime I am a FFB absolute fan from the very begining, the MicroProse's EAW and Jane's WWII Fighters times.

Unfortunately, Oleg, forcefeedbackwise, has never been too keen - if not totally opposed to - to it's deployment in his sims because, as he has many times stated, it is not a 'realistic' feature for him. And therefore he is not in favour of it. As if any other in this sim were totaly realistic!. They all are in some degree, as FFB could be, if given the chance.

But, AFAIK, and given I haven't perceived any change in his attitude - correct me if I am wrong, please - sadly, I advice you to better forget about any change or improvement on FFB features in SoW. Only the HW makers, like Microsoft - sadly out of business long time ago after its magnificent Sidewinder series - or Logitech - with its lately not so troublesome G940 due to a Christmas firmware update - keep standing the forcefeedback's pole up.

To get the features you ask for from Oleg, all data required should be included and make accesible from the sim's engine to the HW makers to reproduce those effects on their sticks. And sincerely, I repeat, Oleg, IMHO, won't move a single finger to ease their availability.

Anyway, let's keep hoping Christmas magic may make its effect on him this time.

Happy new SoW expecting year!
