Depending on your system............
Fog can cause some stuttering/lag from the onset of launching the mission. Memory leaks are associated with the mission/map becoming unflyable due to stuttering and eventually a CTD after a period of time (usually 20-30 mins) and not from the start of the mission/map launch. My entire Storm Clouds 2.0 campaign is set on that map. I've never noticed a memory leak problem... and I spent a lot of development time on it. It is a heavier map as the density is quite low but the object count is actually quite high (there is a farm or something else every kilometer or so
 ).
