Liberals are like sheep with really bad attitudes. Even while they are being led to slaughter by those they see as friends. They will blame the ones that are trying to warn them. Wars will always be a fact, they will not go away just because you know they are wrong. There will always be someone in power somewhere who wants more. War, in the sense that the term is currently used (fighting against people you've never even met), is a relatively recent phenomenon. For most of our existence, we've managed well enough without, and even now there are may people, perhaps the majority, who have never experienced war, and never will.
