I would say that it's an extremely worthwhile add-on:


I probably spent more time gaming on the Normandy map than an other,
thanks to this add-on.
If you fly for the RAF you'll find it's lots of fun escorting bombers,
or defending home bases from enemy attack.

It works fine in 'IL2 1946'.
I think maybe you need to download a patch to be able to fly for the RAF. I'm pretty sure I found it at Mission4Today.
I think there may be some sort of universal patch for this add-on which enables you to fly lots of different aircraft too,
I have made Mosquito missions and many others in the past with the help of these patches,
or the ones VPmedia mentions (I can't remember exactly which).
Look for Battle Over Europe patches at Mission4Today.
As far as I can recall there is information on the download pages about what you need to install.

Lots of interesting skins are included.
