The word Hakenkreuz is simply the autochthonous designation for swastikas. Neither word is banned in Germany. Public display of the symbol on the other hand is banned, or at least limited, in accordance with § 86a StGB. http://bundesrecht.juris.de/stgb/BJN...020804307.html
