Okay I followed your advice and turned down the resolution to bare minimum and it magically started working

My native resolution is 1680x1050 and refresh rate 60hz. I really don't why it did that because it had earlier worked just fine. I tried first to bring the resolution to 1280x? and it did'nt work out. Massive thanks for the help
