One of the many reasons why I always state that you should have multiple
"Save Points".
If you mess up somewhere, you have just a short way to re-play. Especially if you're following the
'Story-Line'. My strategy is.... Save just prior to a gas station, confusing interstate/interchange areas, just before a mission
(done with some practice), and just after you except a mission. I save about every 15 minutes of real-time. It seems petty, but will help in the long run. Don't overwrite your last save. Just keep naming a new one until you have at least 5 or so saves.
