HOORAY!!!
 I uninstalled the CCC program like flyingbullseye said and went and reinstalled it from the website. And it worked this time! so I went through the steps like I was instucted by =PF=coastie and it Totally fixed the problem! I am able to maintain the highest resolution. and it fits my screen perfect. everyone has been such a help to me, thank you. It is so nice to have forums like this and be able to get help.
