Star Wolves Weapon bug

I have the same problem. I'm using Star Wolves 1 on Windows Vista and the weapons don't fire. THe same on my pc with Windows XP. Using the compatibility mode doesn't help. When I'm playing Star Wolves 2 there are no problems with the weapons on both pcs.
