You could probably just have copied the entire IL-2 directory to the new drive, and run it from there. IL-2 doesn't need registry entries etc to run, so all you would need is a new shortcut to the .exe file. This way, everything should get transferred, with no possibilities of missing something. Check that it works properly before deleting the original.
