It is difficult to tell from Youtube quality, but it looks like models are going from one level of detail to another. For example, the rear wheels of the last truck/gun snap into focus as it gets closer to the left side of the screen as the next lod shows. It is done as a very smooth transition though

I think it is indeed an effect of the YouTube video compression.
