Believe it is still way too early to judge what the final map will look like from these shots.

For starters no trees or buildings are visible - the forested areas are obviously just flat placeholders. I expect there will be a representation of hedgerows in the final version which will really add to an English countryside feel. Oleg did mention they were working on the river banks / coastlines textures to try to get them right.

Also, and surprised it's necessary to state the bleedin' obvious again :

It seems that no matter how many times we're told (and I'm guilty too!) we can't resist leaping to judgement from what the current state is to acute disappointment of what the final will be like.
