Save Game Scanner

Hey guys, first of all big thanx to spamm for the great scanner/editor. However I cannot figure out how to actually edit my savegames.

I'm a casual player and I've finished AP with paladin. Normaly that would be it for me, I usually don't replay my games, but this one was so much fun that I made an exception. I restarted with the intention to play with undead units. But alas, I couldn't find any necromancers, so I tried the scanner and bummer - no bloody necromancers in my game! Since it's significantly less fun to play undead with no necromancers in the squad, I'd like to add some in my game.

However when I use the scanner and then open the "savedata.txt", there's no way I can make any sense of it. I can't edit it, it's all just a tangle of characters to me. Can anyone help me with this? To make it more specific = for example how to add "Horde"of necromancers in the Dark Misticus castle? I really love this game and want to try the undead.
