Can I ask why the LA5FN isn't on the plane list but note that all the Spittys are included?

Still waiting for a response concerning reasons for the non-inclusion of the LA5FN. I see it's included in the PS3 tournament and the favoured choice for me and many LA devotees over the LA7 when F/A is limited.

How many people have you got entered?

I really think you need to delay the start of this by a couple of weeks to get some things sorted out. Have a proper random draw to choose qualifing places (at the moment you have chanky and danny booze two of the best playing each other in the qualyfing just because they signed up first). Post the final competition tree well before the starting date to let people have time to get oganaised with their "Enemy" as to what time and date they can meet online.

I also second SEE's query about the La5 exclusion. The spitIX and XVI are just as good as the La5. As SEE would only enter if the La5 was allowed and i'm sure he isn't the only one, I think you need to let it in. You want as many people entering as posible.

Another reason to delay this is, since christmas, we have found quite a few new players online that have just got the game as a present. We can get some of them here too.

My sentiments too Robotic. Add too this that many of the regular Xbox flyers are not members of this forum but would probably join and partake if informed (given there are so many vacant slots).

What.... no Bf-110 C-4 allowed??

It is a FIGHTER, though more of a bomber killer than a dogfighter.

So far I've managed to make more kills in simulator (forward guns only) than any other fighter type.

The tally so far reads:

9 x alsorted Spitfires
1 x Bf 109 E-4 in a head on (dumb smuck!!)
1 x MC-202 "Folgore"
4 x B-17

I've also chewed up quite a few other fighters only to have the kill stolen from me by some single engined "team mate".

I've no idea if the patch will sort out the incorrect performance. I'm lucky to see 262 MPH on WEP rather than the true to life 362 MPH. During the Battle Of Britain, the Bf-110 C-4 was the fastest fighter involved. It's rate of climb is legendary.

The Bf-110 C-4 isn't everyone's cup of tea, having a whole new set of flying skills to master (power drifting the tail, etc.) as a twin engined fighter, but both different and interesting to fly in simulator or any mode.

I'm sorry dude but now this Competition is a no-go. Too many unanswered questions (no final rule list) and too short a timeframe. Unless you delay this, probably until the patch arives (if it ever does), I will have to withdraw my entry. I do respect the fact you are young and have the balls to atempt to setup this competition, which was why infact I entered in the first place, I wanted this to work for you.
