The SU27 on the other hand - garbage. It seems better for air to air than air to ground and cant carry half as much as the SU33.

This is all in over-g btw.

The superior planes for bombing ground targets i found were -

SU33
F15E (think it was the E, theirs about 4 models in over-g)
Hmm, interesting? No I've not played Over-G, but maybe I should start too. Both of the Su-27/33 should be superb air-to-air jets, but the Su-33 shouldn't be very air-to-ground friendly. I mean, not that it's not capable of carrying bombs, but it's should be modeled to be more air-to-air like the Su-27. If they want a good ex-Soviet air-to-ground jet, they should have gotten a Su-25 or something. Most Su's are air-to-air jets. Like the MiGs. But most MiGs now, besides the 29/35, are high altitude interceptors ie MiG-25/31 etc.

Russia has kinda taken the stance of heavy bombing and 'dogfighting' rather ground attack like the American A-10 or something along those lines. Though I do think, that there are still a couple of Su-25s still being used by the Russians?
