The only thing that makes any sense to me is that a lucky shot killed the pilot (kill number 1) and then I shot the plane and blew it up before it crashed (kill number 2). I am thinking that a fighter can give you two kills if you get lucky and kill the pilot first and then blow up or destory the plane.

Make sure to swear real loud whenever it happens.
I have a guess about how they happen, I have seen other people spawn-die when the plane they last died in is still hurtling toward the ground in a big fireball, and they respawn before it actually hits. But that's just a wild guess. |

Yes I'm quite sure there are three types of spawn crash.
1. Respawning at the same time as your dead plane crashes. 2. Respawning at the same time as someone else in the same place (happens in Strike and CTA, bad lag can cause a spawn crash loop.) 3. Respawning inside a hill. (doesn't happen as often)
