About assigning people to teams, edal... would it not be more fair to have a draft for the unassigned players? Assuming you're gonna be on a team.

Also, I have found the Russian 1C BOP forum, which explains why they don't visit this one. I posted a link to this thread there and an explanation of what it's about, hopefully some of them will show up. What would team USSR be without any Russians on it...

Thanks for inviting russians it would be nice to have them participate.

Give me an example of how you would draft the players. yes, I am also participating

There are two small (2 player) squadrons participating, those players will be allowed to be on the same time.

ive got another idea for this tourny please consider it
a protect the vip sort of game
1 team has a bomber carrying a high rinking general or political leader and the other team have to shoot it down before it reaches its destination.
the team with the vip could have other bombers as decoys as you cant see names in sim mode but then to many and the bombers going to be easy meat so stratergy is key

This seems like a pretty good idea... maybe edal might plan a mission like this into the overall campaign... by the way, what time zone are you guys in? I'm in the US Eastern time zone and it feels like not many people are playing when I log in at night, rougly from 8pm - midnight, eastern time...

Love that idea.

Really something they should consider as an MP mode for the next game.

Yes this sounds like a good idea I will see what I can do. However, I was not going to allow both teams to fly bombers on strike, only the invading team will be able to use bombers and the defenders will fly fighters only.

that can be sorted cos u can have fly bombers in tb so that their payload doesnt have any effect if some1 wants to be sneaky

I am not concerned about that. There are many ways that we can work around that. Games will only be played as Strike or Capture the Airfield for the simple reason of having teams started at their designated side of the map.

Sorry guys If I have not updated much on this event I will soon, just a little busy with other things right now but dont worry It will be running by January 2010
