I'm would think all content such as this would be compatible, so we should get these cockpits sooner or later.

Might end up getting the PC version anyway, because my PC flightstick is much better than anything available for either console, and there might be the prospect of the PC version using the extra buttons available to reintroduce some of Il2 1946's more sim like aspects.

OR........

(This is just a suggestion btw)

stick to IL2/IL2FB/IL2:1946

They offer so much more in the way of it being more sim like, if this was to port over to the PC it would be nothing compared to them. Dont get me wrong i love this game on my xbox its incredible, but on the pc.... it wouldnt cut it compared to what the others offer

A great game though.

just my 2 cents worth, you obviously dont have to take any notice

Could do that I suppose, but since I'm already playing both 1946 and the 360 version of BoP, if the PC version of BoP could offer improvements such as reintroducing some of the features that were cut because there weren't enough buttons to implement them, then it would make sense to start playing the PC version of BoP instead of the 360 version, but I would keep playing 1946 as well.

Aaah, very sweet indeed. ^_^ The Komet 'pit in particular fills me with a special sense of joy, as it hints at an increased possibility of a 262 and/or 162 'pit as well, and that would be supoib.

WOW! How can you even contemplate buying this for the PC when you have Oleg's Battle of Britain - Storm of War around the corner. That, my friend is shaping up to be the mother of all combat flight sims!!!

Seeing the popularity of the game, maybe nothing. I wouldn't count on a lot at least. I recon the devs are busier with the sequel..

As I said many times I love this game, so far my favorite on my ps3 (the only platform I have for games).

The point is would I buy a sequel?

If the current BoP will be supported enough (which doesn't mean a lot necessarily), yes I will.

Otherwise, I don't say no but I will think about for a while before I make a decision.

I understand devs and publishers and market laws, but I'm a gamer and money is hard earned.

They will probably send out the update after the PC version
