- Fw 190 A series - acceleration bug - all Fw 190 A accelerate too slow in game. I know where it is these bug in Fw 190 A FM data ( it was actually fixed in some new added ones)

- many 109 types has wrong data and not accurate performance ( e.x 109 E-4, 109 G-2, 109 6 A/S)

- P-51 with its wing broken during high speed manouvers and directional unstabilty - it could be fixed in simple way
We will try to fix everything that we can and that it can be backuped with documentation.

Spits-If you have some info about the Spits you can PM me, I know that it is possible to find lot of info at "Spitfireperformance" but if you have already found most representative variants than you could save me some time. Mostly interested in MkV and early MkIX.

FW-I would hardly call it a bug although low speed acceleration could be better IMO. I don't see, though, how would that improvement be of much help for average pilot unless you over do it. If I'm not mistaken you made some FW's for Ultrapack and just by looking at FM files I would say that these FW's are too optimistic. You can PM me what you think would be realistic performance of FW and I'll see what can be done.

Bf109-they are strange in general, major rework of whole family wouldn't hurt IMO.

P51-now I'm curious, I would love to hear what you think should be done to make plane behave correctly.

Thank you very much Team!
My FPS are the best i have ever seen, and the aircraft flicker is gone, and now i am able to run water 2. I could not run perfect with 4.08 or 4.09 beta.
Thanks for what ever your team did.

Hello guys and Developer team,

One observation I have concerning to the Fw-190 D9 and refering to its turning rate and handling, it's its tendency to stall with a very gentle pulling of the stick. As historical references show, the "Dora" while being slower in the rolling ability compared to its earlier versions ( Fw A series) it was superior in every other way, including of course, turning rate, climbing, etc etc... Most of these characteristics I find accurate in the game, however the turning ability I consider it to be a bit messed up, and I believe the Dora show offer a bit more control in turns than it currently does in game.

Thanks!

Default Dora 9 turning ability in game

Thanks for posting the article on the Dora 9 'lep 1981'. This summary very accurately describes the performance of the Dora 9.
I think the aircraft is very faithfully modelled in the game and just takes practice to get a grip on it.
If you keep up your speed in a turning fight it will hold its own with the Spitfire. If you turn too sharply it will easily flick into a spin, which is fatal if you are near the ground - this is what happened to a lot of young inexperienced German pilots in III/JG54 and I/JG26.

For Team Daidalos I would like them to fix a couple of things with the aircraft. (I am enjoying the fantastic 4.09 upgrade - well done)

The AI aircraft from a distance have a large 'graphic hole' in the fuselage. This has been a fault all the way through the history of the game. I would also like to see the aircraft model modified to carry a 250kg bomb and droptank?

Personally, as a regular FW-190A-9 flier on-line I found D-9's were better on the turn than my A-9 or A-8 and I had to be careful when engaging them because of it. On those occasions where I took a D-9 up I found it quite capable of out-turning Antons ... I just had a hard time hitting them (or anything else, for that matter, LOL. I have always had gunnery problems in D-9's for some reason ).

I suspect you are not using your rudder correctly during turns. Try drilling by going up against an AI Ace in a Spit IXe in QMB and fight it on the turn. Pay attention to your rudder usage.

Any chance to have the PZL P.11c better merged with the rest of the set? I mean, I know that it was an obsolescent, slow and poorly armed plane for WW2 standards, but still I'm sure it's quite undermodeled and abandoned in the sim. A new, not necesarily outstanding cockpit would be also great: something that doesn't feel like coming from a sim of the 80's.

Post A belated thankyou

I thought it was about time I stopped just watching this forum and got round to thanking ( belatedly ) Team Daidalos for all their hard work in bringing us the 4.09 add on. It is very much appreciated.

And good luck with the future add ons

Thanks,

PilotError.
