I killed the Kraken with phantoms of Giants. Placed my other units so that the tentacles won't hit them at retaliation, and killed all the devilfishes every round. Wasn't hard.
Spider is even easier...
Turtle is the easiest, I used a stack of 45-50 Vampires (bats) and summoned Cerberi, plus damage dealing spells. Went down in 4 rounds.
