Don't Evil Beholders have initiative 5? I might be mistaken then...

Anyways, I'm not sure about this theory, but I tried to analyze initiative as well in conjunction with equal initiative troops. I think who goes first is evaluated by initiative, then speed, then total leadership value of the stack.

So horsemen with initiative 6 and speed 5 would go first before any initiative 6 unit with speed less than 5.

Just a theory, but it seems that way on battles that I do check initiative.
