Script error when killing the necromancer

I'm at the end of chapter 5, stone-henge where you fight the scorpion, i have killed the scorpion however it is now continuously coming up with an error message saying something about the fireball attack for the necromancer has a script error and i don't know how to fix it, i just got this game today for my birthday and i am disappointed, if i cannot play past this level i will not be purchasing any future games from this 1C, 505 games or Havok, this has really annoyed me and ruined my birthday. fix it.

Try loading a save from before the Stonehenge battle and replaying it, preferably changing the attack order and avoiding the Necromancer’s Fireball. If the same script error occurs every time, it’s most likely a game bug rather than something you did wrong. Also try verifying the game files if you’re using Steam.
