The overall story is nothing to do with but many sidequests are funny and unexpecting. They make at least the first game more nice.

As for idioms I doubt they can be "translated" at all. For example, the shoal of fishes ablility of Slim besides its plain translation "hell's shoal" in Russian slang has two more meanings: 1. "very strong narcotic cigar"; 2. "critical error". How would you translate it?

You may like it or not but writers have very specific style and humor which in many cases is hardly translatable.

But if the English translation is really grammatikally inkorrekt some additional plain professional korrektions is definitely good idea.
