Honestly though regardless of what he would of said I thought people would have asked anyway! So I think it is more than that.

The truth is if it took nearly 7 years to make what we have now, then re-writting the graphics engine to be completely new but look the same, is gonna take a heck of a lot longer than the present time frame.
I think the development announcements we recevie are probably displaying unrealistic progress reports in an effort to ease the tension and appease the community.

I wouldnt expect anything in terms of functional patch or even beta till the summer or maybe later, thats just being realistic not negative.

Ehr...30/3 was Friday last week, he was talking about last week. This week started 2/4. If he was talking about this week then certainly he would've said "The patch is still not ready, do not expect it next week." right? If I'm not wrong here, a new week starts on a Monday lol! Anyway, I don't expect any patch today nor next Friday or the Friday after that, seriously who's expecting anything at this point?

yeah it being good Friday has me thinking there wont be any updates let alone the patch. But her eis to hoping against hope!
