Nice one indeed! Thank you so much to both of you for your help - you are true gentlemen.
It seems to be solved and I've just flown several quick missions back to back and then restarted and flown some more and it is now not locking up. It was the new profiler software that seemed to solve it although I have updated with the firmware one as well. Orville, yes I have read a little bit about that force edit programme but, like you, I am not very tech savvy so I decided to stay away from all of that. Anyway, I'm as pleased as punch now that I can actually control the aircraft - it's the little things! I wish you both all the best  Stu.

Just a proposal, would you like to rename the thread in e.g. "Logitech G940 frequently asked questions - FAQ"!? So the thread can be continued with further discussions arround the G940 ... Regards Varrattu
